We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God. God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God. - 2 Corinthians 5:20-21

This passage that Paul writes reminds us of our calling to represent Jesus in everything we do, sharing the message of reconciliation with the world. As Christ’s ambassadors, we embody His love and righteousness, not through our own merit, but through the sacrifice of Jesus, who took on our sin so we might live in right standing with God.

George Müller’s life is a powerful example of someone who embraced this role of ambassador. Through his tireless work in caring for orphans and trusting God to provide without ever soliciting funds, Müller demonstrated that reconciliation to God isn’t just a message we preach—it’s a lifestyle of faith and service. He believed that as he lived a life fully surrendered to God’s will, people would be drawn to Christ by witnessing His provision and care. Like Müller, we too are called to reflect the righteousness of God through our actions, trusting Him and showing others the power of the gospel in everyday life.
